The Lord’s Song on the Man of Honor

“Who is the man of honor, but the one,
Who daily listens to the Lord,
With a pure heart, and an open mind?
I will liken him to a mighty man of valor,
Who strikes down the forces of hell;
Who punishes the wicked adversaries,
And who tears the encampment of every enemy,
That has taken residence in houses;
Who sets captives free, and who has denied himself,
For the sake of the Brethren,
To lift others before himself.
He is a glorious man where they have gathered around;
For he brings with him sincerity, and compassion,
Gentleness, meekness, and love.
His right hand is strength,
His left is dignity;
He wears a crown of gold upon his head,
For he has taken up his shield and sword,
Used many a time in battle.
I will liken him to a victor,
For he is a mighty king,
Loving not his own life unto death.
Who is the man of honor, but the one,
Who knows his Father
And understands His will?
Assuredly, I say, He is My true Son,
And I will lift him up all his days,
For he knows who he is.”
